Mental Health Awareness – Working in Lock-down
About the programme:
During the on-going lock down resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic, we are forced into a type of isolation that most people outside of the International Space Station will not have experienced. Bear in mind that crew members on space-going ventures are carefully selected and then trained further in coping with their isolation. Most everyone else is not. Thankfully, the concerns about a large-scale business shift towards virtual learning and online meetings have been creatively overcome in many workplaces, with a lot of quick development, learning and hard work. However, the social aspect of isolation and social distancing has created greater challenges for many people. In this webinar we share with you some well being tools that you can use in the moment with individuals and in virtual team meetings to help facilitate conversations about feelings, build resilience, provide support and sign post to resources. This module is delivered by CMBD’s Carroll Macey who is a published author and expert in this area.
Managers and supervisors who need to pay attention to where the people in their team are at and to provide them with support.
